The unexpected and sad death of our board member Rafael !
Hello everyone. My uncle, Rafael Calderon, has unfortunately passed on unexpectedly. He suffered an irreparable brain bleed, and surgery was unsuccessful. Our family has had to make the tough decision to end life support.
We ask for help in reaching our goal to be able to send him off properly. Please share, and any donations made will be greatly appreciated.
For those of you who knew him, you know how much of a family man he was and how much he enjoyed helping and taking part in making differences in the community. His love for Batman was like no other, and he loved to showcase his love for his country, the Dominican Republic. Moreno, as we called him, leaves behind a handful of nieces and nephews, as well as his mom, brothers, and sisters who loved him dearly and will cherish every moment we were able to spend together. He created a life here that he was proud of, and I’m thankful he also was able to experience real love from his girlfriend, Andrea. You will be deeply missed. FOREVER OUR BATMAN
