David was a Board member of the NHPCC for five years. His friendship, creative ideas, and his passion to fulfill our mission to end the deaths of men from prostate cancer was inspiring. We watched his struggle with this cancer and while we could only support him through our prayers and encouragement we drew strength from his fight. Cathi is working hard attending workshops, meeting many contact people from across the country, and gathering great materials. She will be meeting one-on-one with NH Congressman Chris Pappas and with representatives from Senator Hassan's office. The NHPCC Board is excited to see how all of this will enable the Coalition to better serve the New Hampshire communities to become more aware of prostate cancer and the need for early detection.

This is a new procedure that we have been informed about. As you consider your options you might want to discuss this avenue with your urologist. Your urologist is the best source of information on the best way to treat your Grade of prostate cancer. Check out our website for other procedures.

NHPCC was able to put on another successful Awareness event at the NEC Women's & Men's Basketball games. Promoting Prostate Cancer Awareness is our mission. If we are able to get a few more men to have their PSA checked annually we consider that a success.
